CUP recently welcomed two new staff members.
Dr Issahaka Fuseini joins the project as a one year postdoctoral research fellow working primarily on Work Package Two focussing on the Food System component of the project. Issahaka joins us from Ghana, via a PhD at Stellenbosch University. His PhD work focussed on Urban governance and spatial planning for sustainable urban development in Tamale, Ghana. Prior to this he did is Masters in Accra working on the analysis of land- use competition in and around Tamale and the implication thereof for household food security.
Rebekah Adams joins us as a recent graduate from Bryn Mawr college in the US on a Commonwealth Africa Scholarship from the college. Prior to joining the project, she was based in Tanzania for the past year. She is working across work packages and will be with the project until December.
